Mercurial Silver Safari

Nike adds another colourway to the Mercurials through the Silver Safari pack. It includes both the Superfly 8 and the Vapor 14, so whichever Mercurial silo you are a fan of, you’ll get a chance to choose the Silver Safari as your next pair of football boots.

The Safari is arguably one of the most popular Mercurial designs of all time and is also one of the top colourways for any CR7 signature boots. As the name suggests, this pack of Mercurials sports the famous Safari pattern in a silver finish. The design element adds glitter to an off-white base. The Flyknit tongue and collar produce a brighter white pop across the top of the boot.

Aside from the silver finish of the Safari print, the other accent highlights that grab attention are the volt details. The said green shade colours the prominent Swoosh outline on the lateral side (as well as the small one on the medial side), the Speed Wings on the rear, the Flyknit label, and the Safari print directly on top of the forefoot speed band. The speed band itself is on a lighter shade of black, and so is the solid Swoosh underlapping its outline counterpart plus the exposed heel liner around the ankle.

The white soleplate of the Silver Safari boots delivers a minimised opacity and houses a volt Aerotrac spine and black stud configuration. The small solid Swoosh on the forefoot is also volt, just one question do you choose Superfly or Vapor?…
