Kinetic Black Pack

Blake Grice

The Nike Kinetic pack is a collection of all black football boots the name Kinetic comes from kinetic energy; the energy of motion. Kinetic energy depends on an object speed and mass and it’s just a nice naming convention that Nike have used for marketing their black pack boots, that you see them release once or twice per season.

Within the kinetic pack the first boots that we saw were the Nike Tiempo followed shortly by the Superfly, Vapor and Phantom Venoms, with the brand new Phantom Visions 2 also slotting into this pack after their release.

These all black packs are suited to academy players and people who like the technology of brand-new boots without having to stand out too much on the pitch. Released at a similar time was the Nike future lab pack which had bold red and black boot designs that would certainly stand out on pitch considerably more than these all black boots in the Kinetic pack.

On the Tiempo whilst the black leather is clearly a deep black, the knit of the Flyknit to the rear section of the boot has more of a blue or black to it. This often happens when you don’t get that true black colour, it does seem to have a bit of an iridescent feel to it while the soleplate of the boots is in a matte black.
