Nike released the most environmentally friendly boot available the GS 2 earlier this week and Arsneal’s Theo Walcott was one of six players launching the boot. Walcott joins other Premier League stars Eden Hazard and Raheem Sterling. The boot designed for speed weighs in at just 160 grams making it the lightest boot ever produced by Nike.

In recent weeks Walcott has been linked with other Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Chelsea after he rejected a 75,000 pound deal with the Gunners. Arsene Wenger has pleaded him to stay at the and commit but Walcott may leave for a higher paid deal.

Walcott may test the boots in Arsenal’s clash with Aston Villa this Saturday but may not appear due to a shoulder injury. The boots suits the speedy winger like Walcott and Sterling. The boot is mostly produced with renewable and recyclable materials making it the fastest, lightest and greenest boot manufactured by Nike.
