Nike Skycourt Shoes

Cooldown ahead of summer indoor games with Nike’s release of the Skycourt pack featuring the brand’s small-sided collection of React Gato, Lunar Gato II, Premier II Sala, and Tiempo Legend 8 React Pro, all projecting a spark of blue and volt.

The youngest of the quartet is the React Gato having debuted just this February. In a short period though the React Gato has now been part of multiple colourways including the Skycourt. In its Skycourt form, the React Gato’s microdot textured Flyknit vamp is blue and serves as the base for the lime Swoosh outline on the lateral. The synthetic quarter, which in this case houses the vibrant green Touch 360 pod symbols, is on the lighter shade of blue. The full-length Nike React foam, which gives responsive cushioning through its energy return function, is visibly white and is exposed around the heel relative to its non-marking NE marque pas sole casing in the underfoot as well as in the forefoot. And concerning Touch 360, the highlight of this silo is the touch pods under the sole that, when pressed, aim to provide the wearer with a better feel of the ball’s location relative to his underfoot. A blue toe cap finishes the construction of the React Gato to add to the boots structural durability as well as to toe punts usage.

The Skycourt Lunar Gato II is now featuring a blue stitched premium goat leather that covers the top of the forefoot up to the medial and provides a natural feel for the ball. The Nike Grind rubber around the toe expands a bit on the instep and is there to add structure to the boot and text for ball grip. The breathable Hyperfuse mesh on the lateral up to the back is blue with light lime stripes and is expected to provide the same dynamic lockdown. The light lime Lunarlon foam cushioning is still there to provide a comfortable cushioning extending from the heel to midfoot. The multi-threaded rubber sole providing multi-directional traction is blue on the forefoot and green on the backfoot.

A sky blue backfoot and forefoot suede, which provides the boot’s ball touch capabilities in its unique way, and a light blue midfoot breathable mesh form the upper of the classy Skycourt Premier II Sala. The navy blue Swooshes on the medial and lateral sides join and hook around the back of the boot. The entire sole is white, including the Lunarlon foam providing the boot’s soft, springy underfoot cushioning from the heel up to the midfoot.

Last but not the least, the Tiempo Legend 8 React Pro in the Skycourt pack is reminiscent of the Tiempo Legend V in the 2015 highlight pack. The racer blue soft K-leather forms the upper’s forefoot and extends to the sides of the boot. The K-leather is given a moulded diamond texture and is constructed to be as thin as possible to simulate a barefoot feel and control of the ball. The blue synthetic quarter gives structural reinforcement to the boot and houses the volt green Swoosh and the Tiempo branding. The rubber outsole is divided into a green forefoot and a blue heel, both containing bar-shaped mini studs for traction especially on synthetic surfaces. A black Swoosh is seen right on the forefoot-heel sole division.
