Blacks Back For Nike With New Shadow Pack!

Time to celebrate, black boot lovers! Nike gives us the ‘Shadow 2.0’ pack, its first black pack for the 2022/23 season. Yes, it has the Phantom GT and the Tiempo Legend. But more importantly, it shares with us the first blacked-out colourway of the new-gen Air Zoom Mercurials. Want to feel the bounce of the new Nike speed boots without fancy colourways? Then the ‘Shadow‘ Mercurials are for you…

Mercurial Shadow

With everything in black except for the white brandings, the Superfly 9 in the ‘Shadow 2.0’ pack has a look that blocks out the noise and keeps your eyes on the prize. The boot still does carry sleek details thanks to the 3D Swoosh outline on the lateral side and the stylised ‘AIR’ branding in dark grey.

Nike likes to emphasise as well that the Zoom airbag is the new kid in football boot town and colours its outsole window in volt, with matching green studs surrounding it.

‘Shadow’ Phantom GT 2

The Phantom GT 2 in the pack also exudes that all-business, no-nonsense impression, limiting its white and grey upper details to the brandings and Swooshes (though it leaves a fine touch with the glossy-like finish on the GT bespoke strip graphic). The control boot distinguishes itself from the rest of the Shadow boots with the red-orange accents coming from its studs.

Blackout Tiempo Legend 9

The Tiempo Legend in black is K-leather at its finest. Sharing the same upper secondary accents as other boots in the pack, the Shadow pack Tiempo can fit in with whatever colour your kit is. In Tiempo’s case, however, the stud tips are blue to give the leather boot its identity in the pack.
