Nike has launched the new season’s first black version to cater our traditional boot enthusiasts and for those who simply cannot get enough of black Nike boots. The 23/24 Shadow Pack contrasts directly to the opening pack and features all of the Swoosh’s current silos, meaning that there’s a black boot to offer for the Mercurial, GX and Tiempo players. Speaking of the Tiempo, this is the first-ever black Tiempo Legend ever since its move to synthetic leather in the 10th generation. Suffice to say that this is going to be a special black release for Nike’s heritage boot.

For the said black pack, chrome and royal blue provide the supporting role and deliver the accent detail needed to distinguish it from past Nike Black Packs. In a way, this pack somehow evoke memories of the Renew collection, though that one differs obviously as it opted for a light blue accent instead.

A recurring accent application across all boots is the chrome to royal blue fade on the Swoosh outlines. The Swoosh remains an outline for the GX, but has a solid black fill for the other two.

Going to the outsole, both the Mercurials and the Phantom GXs use the royal blue shade across their soleplate structures, except for the former that leaves the window of the Air Zoom technology in chrome. The Tiempo, on the other hand, limits the blue on its stud tips.
