NJR Copa Puma Future Launched

For sure Neymar is training hard to be fit again to play football. But with an expected return of July or August, it might be a while before we can see him lace up his Puma Future boots. Assuming though that he can make it back earlier than expected, he has a signature pair waiting for him. If he makes it in time for the Copa America 2024, then get ready to see Neymar in action with his NJR Copa Future 7 Ultimate boots. I guess for now it remains to be seen whether NJR Copa will end up getting worn by its headline star or not.

Last time we’ve seen Neymar with the Future, he was wearing the Gear Up colourway. And that was still with the Future Ultimate. The Brazilian has missed the Future 7 launch and is yet to wear any of its colourway releases, including the 2024 edition of the Neymar Creativity. Be that as it may, it takes a superstar to still receive signature boots even if you’re in recovery mode. So I’m sure everyone misses Neymar and his Future boots on the pitch, and you may alleviate that by getting his special Copa America 2024 pair and dedicate your football for him.

So now let’s take a look at the NJR Copa itself. I think it’s obvious that this is definitely based on the Future 7 of the Forever Faster pack. Of course, it has bespoke details to mark it as a Neymar boot. But I’m certainly reminded of the star’s Dream Chaser World Cup boots and how it’s a spinoff of the Fearless collection. That boot though added the design on the forefoot. NJR Copa places its visuals on the quarter and heel.

It’s definitely easy to spot that Forever Faster Future’s pinkish base colour on NJR Copa. In fact the signature boot even has the same amber accents coming from the PWRTAPE and PWRPRINT. Now speaking of PWRTAPE, I see that Puma started with that feature in adding Neymar details, as there is a secondary tape in green on this boot. Using blue, green and amber, Puma then slaps in a stylised graphic depicting a crowned player surrounded by the national flag, a football, and pitches formed to look like a favela. The Dynamic Motion System soleplate also mixes things up, with the forefoot sole acquiring the base upper colour and the rear getting that blue shade. To sign things off, FOREVER FASTER has been changed to FOREVER BRASILEIRO.
