In early 2022, New Balance gave us the first Harvey Elliott signature with the ‘Diamond Cuts Sharper’ Furon 6+. The Liverpool youngster is still with the brand in 2023. But this time, he has moved on to the Tekela v4, opting to wear the low-cut laced model. With the Furon still loaded with NB’s more established stars, it makes sense for the budding star to move to the Tekela. And with that, he gets to solidify his grip on the silo with New Balance releasing the HE19 Tekela signature boots. It’s also his way of introducing his love for Liverpool by having this signature inspired by his French Bulldog Paisley, named after one of the greatest managers in the club’s history.
From afar, what is striking with this Elliott signature is that pure red shade of the upper that contrasts well with the bold N logo in white. The white motif gives it a distinction relative to the red Furon signature given to Bukayo Saka. With this signature Tekela, Elliott has a nice boot to pair up with his red home kit.
A closer look allows one to see more clearly the other visual activity going on with the boot. Covering the heel and quarter is another white detail comprised of bones graphic that flows down to the black sole. Along the medial side of the said design is the streaking NB logo in black. HE19 and ‘Harvey Elliott’ signs off right at the heel of the left boot, and Paisley’s face image and name on the right.
