Bukayo Saka wears the New Balance Furon known for its Hypoknit upper that provides a knit option for those looking for this type of speed boot. It’s the same boot regularly worn by Sadio Mane. He’s a key player for New Balance, joining them just prior to the Euro 2020 tournament, where he would make multiple appearances for the Three Lions in his NB Football Furon. Saka boots at this point include several signature editions.

FuelCell and Power Surge Furons
To start the 2024/25 season, the Gunner superstar opted to wear the Furons from the United in FuelCell and Power Surge Packs. The former was mostly white and had striking neon accents in pink, yellow-green and aqua. The latter, on the other hand, mellowed down with a yellow-orange colourway and a gradient blue accent for the bordered logo.
Euro 2024 Signature Boots
Saka received not just one, but two signature releases during the Euro 2024 tournament. The first one was a luxury release courtesy of fashion brand Aimé Leon Dore. They designed the Saka Furon with a predominantly white look that turned to a gradient gold towards the toe. Gold also informed the application of the accents coming from the logos, which included the bold ‘aime’ branding on the medial side.
The second one was a tweak of the Furon from the Lime Glo Pack. NB simply modified Lime Glo Furon to have some gold detailing on the lateral N logo as well on the Saka heel logo. The soleplate also transitioned to a chromatic gold around the midfoot and heel area.
2024 Sky Blue Furon
Saka started 2024 wearing the Sky Blue Furon boots. It had a navy accent for the logos and ‘hot mango’ orange ones for the stud tips and low-cut collar rear edge. Notable on this release was the Furon’s shift to the ‘N’ logo instead of the streaking NB.
Gold PFA and Seven Edition
Right after getting a special pair of gold with black Furons, which is not for sale and is exclusive to him for winning the 2023 PFA Young Player of the Year, Saka gets the signature ‘Seven’ Edition Furons. They are mostly white with a fiery red accent courtesy of the big no. 7 on the sole’s forefoot as well as the brandings, logos and design on the entirety of the upper.
White Rare Force
As part of its player wide release, Saka was one of the few players to rock this white Furon v7s. And since his leading Arsenal’s title-charge at the last few months of 2022/23, Saka surely had his ‘Rare Force’ boots soaking green and brown for his efforts on the pitch.
Saka 2023 Red Signature Furon
Saka resumed his play for Arsenal in 2023 with New Balance giving him a signature release to start the year. Predominantly red, the boot features a tonal baroque oak leaf print that covers the entirety of the upper, with the words ‘Progress’ and ‘Unity’ in silver accentuating further the centrality of Saka’s hometown of Ealing in the boot’s design.
Qatar World Cup Furon
Joining fellow New Balance wearer Raheem Sterling in the World Cup, Bukayo Saka wore the Furon v7 in the World Cup in Qatar at the end of 2022. He wore the blue with volt Furon in the tournament-specific ‘Headline Taker’ pack.
What Bukayo Saka Wore Before…
Before the Furon, Saka wore football boots both from the Nike and adidas, with experience in the Mercurial Superfly 6 and 7, then played with the laceless X 19+ speed boot and the laced Nemeziz 19.1 agility boot. Alongside Sadio Mane and Raheem Sterling, Saka joins the New Balance brand and allows the American footwear company to improve their presence in the football boot industry. Getting a significant boot sponsorship deal at the very young age of 19 years old is a testament to the talents and potential of the Hale End Academy product.
Bukayo Saka enjoyed his first senior silverware with Arsenal when the club won the FA Cup in 2020. He immediately followed it up with the 2020/21 Community shield, participating in the starting 11 and contributing an assist. Saka featured heavily on the right flank of Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2020 England squad and, despite missing his take in the Final’s penalty shootout vs Italy, provided consistently good performances and even a Man-of-the-Match display against the Czech Republic. Rising through the ranks at Arsenal, his Premier League performances caught the eye of New Balance who tied him into a boot deal at just the right time as he lit up the World Football stage.
