What Does Mane Wear?

While most of the players would be wearing Nike or Adidas, Sadio Mane is one of those standouts that are sponsored by another brand. He is presently a proud wearer of the New Balance Furon, developed to be a faster and lighter boot.

They currently wear newbalance boots, see more here...

New Balance issued a Neo Flame/Silver coloured Furon v6 in honour of the Senegalese 2019 African Player of the Year Award, the v6 introduced a new adaptive lightweight stretch upper called Fit Weave, a fully knitted material that is said to have life-long wearer shape retention for a personal fit. The NB branding also has a significant change in that it has an accelerated look courtesy of the flash lines along the full-sized soleplate features chevron studs similar to the Nike Mercurials. New Balance finished off the boots with an African player of the year stamp can be seen on the heel, they were the third boots made specifically for Mane, after New Balance made him the Rise of a Lion Furon v5 and Bambaly his first signature edition based on the colours of the Senegalese flag.

Sadio Mane helped the Austrian Bundesliga side Redbull Salzburg in clinching the domestic double for the 2013-2014 season, after which he controversially moved into Premier League by joining Southampton at the start of the 2014-2105 season. A transfer was made in 2016 and he became one of the Southampton players (the other one being Virgil Van Dijk a season later) who switched to Liverpool and made an impact for the said club. Together with other Liverpool stars like Firmino, Salah, Henderson, Robertson, Van Dijk, and Alexander-Arnold, Mane is now pushing the club in finishing their 30-year drought of Premier League silverware. He has already won the 2019 UCL and FIFA Club World Cup and would surely desire to add the Premier League to that collection. His 2019 African Player of the Year award is made even more impressive when you consider that Egypt’s Salah and Algeria’s Mahrez are the other nominees.

While Firmino covers the centre and Salah rules over the right, the Senegalese winger controls the left side of that vaunted front three. Danny Blind has compared Mane to Cristiano Ronaldo for his ability to score with both feet and headers. It also helps that Mane has a blinding speed with his sprints.
