PP Season 7 Predator
The colourway of the Predator 20+ Pogba Season 7 uses a classy tonal black coupled with white and metallic gold. The 406 rubber spikes of the Demonskin zone are black as well as the Primeknit upper where they sit upon. The Sockfit collar, external heel counter, and split soleplate are likewise black, with the soleplate having black microtextures that resemble the Demonskin rubber spikes. On the other hand, the Adidas stripes on the outer side of the forefoot are white while the double P player logos of Paul Pogba that permeate all over the upper are the ones in metallic gold. Inside the transparent triangular studs with zap-shape base have accents that have the same metallic gold shade (except for the three middle studs in the forefoot that remain black). A gold DEMONSKIN branding can be seen near the black seam separating the upper from the collar.
Tech-wise, the Pogba Season 7 is a familiar Predator 20+ with the highlight being the 406 rubber spikes covering the forefoot and medial while extending a bit to the lateral. The said rubber elements aptly called Demonskin are engineered for enhanced grip and spin on the ball. They are backed by years of research about key contact points between the ball and foot and their shape and formation along the upper reflect such study. The upper is constructed with Adidas Primeknit allowing the upper to hug the foot with a soft knit-like feel while maintaining boot structure through the heating of identified keypoint.
The high cut Sockfit collar, as the name implies, provides the sock-like transition of the boot around the ankle area and is perforated in the central laceless area for breathability. That central laceless area appeals to players who prefer boots that are plug-and-play. The Primeknit upper and Sockfit collar combine to provide that stretch needed to adapt to the contours of the wearer's foot, thus ensuring an anatomical fit. The external heel counter assists with the player's stability and smoothly connects with the rear of the split soleplate. The split soleplate is further cored out (one in the rear plate and two in the fore plate) to make it even more lightweight. Four studs occupy the rear while seven sit on the front plate on a 2-3-2 formation, all designed to amplify rotation and traction.
