Puma Tease 2024 Future with FTR Drop

Dean Ariola

Most of us are still in holiday mode. And with most of us still entrenched in our own vacation ways, Puma makes a play to borrow a few minutes of that time to point us to the Future 7! Yes, there’s a new generation of Future lurking down the corner of the new year! The Wild Cat drop a teaser of this latest Future by dropping the limited, early-take edition dubbed as the FTR. We will get a review of the Future 7 posted soon, so stay tuned…

For this teaser of the Neymar-headlined silo, those who dig dark-coloured boots or serious-toned look would love the navy base of the FTR colourway. Puma just likes to make sure you know that this is a Future boot, and so pops of the ‘Future’ wordmark in cobalt appear around the forefoot. The German brand also likes to point out the new placement of the PWRTAPE, which is now Y-shaped around the arch of the upper. The PWRTAPE here has a purplish core and fades to orange on the tips.

Complementing the accents of the PWRTAPE are the dual outlines on quarter of the boot. Those on the lateral side display the animal logo, while those on the medial form into the Future lettermark. FTR completes its colourway with a golden chrome finish on its soleplate.
