As Lionel Messi continues his already legendary career, so as adidas’ recognition of him with the release of Rosario Nemeziz 19.1. The Messi-exclusive football boot has a royal blue base that acts as a canvass for the graffiti-like graphic covering almost the entire upper and even the sole.
The colours used for the artwork design are solar yellow, metallic silver, black, and orange. Messi’s hometown Rosario, where artistic graffiti abounds in walls and even store buildings, inspired the creation of the boot’s graphic.
The graphic shows multiple references to Messi-a flag with a BARCELONA branding, the number 10, player name, a ‘LEOOH!!!’ screamer lettering, and even an image of Messi himself. The left and right boots do not share the same design with each having a unique design referencing to Messi.
The torsion system has a translucent finish on its blue plates and solar yellow studs. The latest Messi boots were supposed to be released last June 2020, in time for the supposed start of Copa America before the postponement of all major tournaments.
