You might have seen adidas players flashing boots that look different from the season-opening Game Data pack. That is because Europe’s finest are privileged to wear the adidas ‘Beyond Fast’ pack-the stripes brand’s boot collection for the opening phase of the 2022/23 UCL competition. The colourway takes its cue from the Pro Void, the OMB of this season’s group stage.
The futuristic, space travel-inspired colour theme sees the X Speedportal and the Predator Edge flashing a silver base with multicolour offset underlays for the Stripes and Zoneskin elements (for the Predator boots). The result is a pair of boots that shimmer under the bright lights of European nights, with a dazzling rainbow effect when set in motion.
adidas has included only its speed and control boots for ‘Beyond Fast’ launch. So fans of the Copa Sense will have to wait and see if the modernised heritage boot will get a late release under the same colourway.
