Towards the end of 2023, Trent Alexander-Arnold made a surprise switch to adidas and is now wearing the iconic Predator line, making it so far the only adidas silo to join in the list of Alexander Arnold boots. The Predator line has been known for the grip elements attached to the surface of the upper for better swerve and spin in crosses and long-range shooting. He joins the likes of Jude Bellingham in representing the control boot on the pitch.

Goal Hunter Predator 25
Ahead of its official launch, the Predator 25 Goal Hunter SE was given its official match debut by several Predator stars including Trent Alexander-Arnold. Together with the Predator DB, Goal Hunter provided TAA with back-to-back special editions, both of which sported a mostly white look. Aside from introducing Predator 25 itself, Goal Hunter Pack displayed inspirations from the Champagne Mania and the ’98 Accelerator for its design.
Vivid Horizon and Predator DB
Turned out that there was still another pack that actually served as the opening player-wide release for adidas players in 2024/25. That was the Vivid Horizon Pack, which included a platinum metallic finish for the upper and a predominantly pink accent for the fold-over tongue. Vivid Horizon presented Predator FT with a chance to popularised at least one of its original colourways, after a series of releases that were patterned after some of the iconic Predator colourways of the past.
Speaking of the past, Predator DB was one of those limited edition boots that were exclusive to a select few, which TAA was a part of. Besides being headlined by Beckham, this white with blue Predator FT paid tribute to the classic Trefoil logo by incorporating it through a micro pattern on the lateral side of the boot, as well as the bold one sewn on the leather tongue.
Advancement and Reemergence Predator FTs
For his game time during Euro 2024, TAA didn’t not miss the chance to rock a pair of the Advancement Predator FTs that recreated the Japan Blue colourway. It was the look that was popularised by the 2002 World Cup Predator Mania. And based on the preseason of the 2024/25 campaign, it was clear Alexander-Arnold was going to be switching up to the Reemergence Pack. Here, the Predator FT was white with pink spot pattern inspired by the 2014 Battle Pack. A bit of gloss was added thanks to the metallic blue finish of the stripes.
Pure Strike
It took a few months to get released, but TAA’s debut boots for adidas, which also happened to be a signature pair after all, became available for retail in April 2024. He is one of the few to get a signature drop for the Predator 2024 generation.
Solar Energy Predator FT
Marking the official debut of the Predator ’24 in the retail market, TAA and company switched to the Solar Energy Predator. In terms of colourway, it was predominantly black with white stripes and red accents for the tongue and collar. He of course wore the FT boots which further had a yellow detailing courtesy of the strap.
Predstrike Tongue Version
With the Predator 2024 in full view as early as December 2023, TAA wore the special edition Predstrike colourway that had a red to orange glow and secondary black detailing. As expected, he went for the fold-over tongue model, which suited him well given his Beckhamesque range.
Trent Alexander-Arnold Debuts Unreleased 2024 Predator upon Signing Up with adidas
In a top-of-the-table match against Manchester City on November 25, 2023, Alexander-Arnold debuted the unreleased whiteout Predator 2024, confirming what’s to come for one of the brand’s longest-serving silo. He wore the laced with the classic-looking fold-over tongue version.
What had TAA Worn in the Past?
Trent Alexander-Arnold had been with Under Armour since his teenage breakthrough. He wore the Clone Magnetico, and in 2023, received a signature ’66’ collection. It was comprised of five editions and had a gradient colouring from heel to toe. The transition from one edition to the next was marked by the fact that the toe colouring on the previous continues to the heel of the next one. The ’66’ collection was all about his continued evolution each season, thus the choice for the spectral design.
His ’66’ collection was launched with the Clone Magnetico Pro 2 line, despite already releasing an update of the silo to Magnetico Elite 3.0. It had the stretchy clone upper that moulded and flexed well with the contour and movements of your feet. The soleplate had a flat profile, making you feel really close to the ground. For the Magnetico Elite, UA had redesigned the stitching on the Clone upper, as well as going for an off-centred lacing system with a standalone tongue.
Who is Trent Alexander-Arnold?
Trent Alexander-Arnold has solidified himself as Liverpool’s modern right-back great. He’s born and bred in Liverpool, having joined the club’s youth football and always being touching distance with his Red idols. When everything’s said and done, what will stand out in Alexander-Arnold’s career is his attacking skills from such a deep position. Moreover, it his incredible passing range that gives him the ability to be creative with his crosses and set-pieces. Excelling especially well under Jurgen Klopp’s system, Alexander-Arnold has never been afraid to move forward and join the attack. With the coach’s system and TAA’s skillset, the results are titles from the Premier League, the FA Cup, the UCL and even the club FIFA World Cup. Call-ups to the Three Lions have been a regular for Alexander-Arnold.
