Superfly 10 Mad Ambition
Sancho made a permanent move to Chelsea in the transfer window of 2024/25. And he partnered the switch to the Blues by wearing the season-opening Mad Ambition Superfly 10. Everything checked out-new team, new-gen boot, same colour for a perfect kit-boot combo. The theme of Mad Ambition of course was significantly lighter than the club’s traditional colour, and it was just like with the Superfly 9 Mad Ready in relation to his kit colour with his loan stay with Borussia Dortmund.
Superfly 9 Mad Ready Pack
New Year, new club, new Superfly. Upon moving back to Borussia Dortmund in 2024, Sancho wore the pale yellow Mad Ready Superfly 9. Together with its black accent, the boot somehow formed coherence in a very limited sense with the yellow and black kit colours of Dortmund.
Superfly Ready Pack
Jadon Sancho perfect matched the red shirt-white shorts home kit combination of Manchester United for the 2023/24 season with the Ready Superfly 9. The boot was mostly white and had the quarter covered with an angled block of red, cutout to display the AIR branding. It was displayed a nice transition from red to white, then back to red considering the overall kit-boot combo look.
Superfly 9 XXV Pack
The winger had the silver Superfly from the general XXV pack together with the likes of Rashford as part of the Mercurial’s silver anniversary celebration. The boot had reflective Nike and Mercurial brandings, black accent for the knitted tongue and collar and a pink shade for the Zoom Airbag window on the outsole. Also in pink were the forefoot Swoosh and the bespoke pack logo. on the medial side of the quarter.
Luminous Air Zoom Superfly
Jadon Sancho’s fighting spirit and youth was captured by this pink with yellow Air Zoom Mercurials, launched as part of Nike’s last pack for the 2022/23 season. Pink is something you can’t just wear without backing it up, which Sancho definitely had no problem with as evidenced by him playing in arguably the best league in the world (with a club that’s arguably one of the biggest in the world).
Superfly 9 2022/23 On-pitch II
Nike’s second 2022/23 on-pitch pack release was the Blast pack, and Sancho joined the rest of the Superfly group in wearing the white Mercurial boot that also featured sky blue and pink details. The cool and breezy feel of the overall look reflected the dominant season at that time, which the player didn’t miss to take part of after being unable to wear the silverware-like finish of the Generation Mercurial Superfly.
Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly ‘Lucent‘
As with all Nike contracted players, Sancho began the 2022/23 season wearing the yellow Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly from the ‘Lucent’ pack. That bright colourway for his boot represented the good days ahead of his young career, with the unmistakeable ‘AIR’ branding showing everyone he is one of the chosen few to represent the current Mercurials in elite football…

What’s Sancho Wearing?
From Ronaldhino to Wayne Rooney and then to Cristiano Ronaldo, Nike’s success in the football boot industry is certainly assisted through its sponsorship deals with the sport’s household names. It did it again by looking into the future and with Sancho featuring heavily at the New Lights Mercurial 7 launch event in Paris, in July 2019.
It is well known that the English footballer played much of his teenage years in Manchester City’s academy and had been tipped to easily break through the first team. However, due to a dispute about playing time assurance, Sancho opted to join Borussia Dortmund in 2017, where he was immediately integrated in to the first team. For the next few seasons, he would collect various youngest scoring records both for club and domestic league and was named in the 2018-2019 Bundesliga Team of the Season. At just 19 years of age, the winger proved to be a vital cog in Borussia Dortmund’s chase of domestic and European success.
A hallmark of a speedy player is not just top speed but also explosive acceleration from a complete stop to a full sprint, an attribute which Jadon Sancho is full of. Couple that with his ball control that looks like a ball glued to his feet even at full speed and lateral movements that seem effortless, Sancho is a quality package of dribbling and finishing. Nike continue to invest their money and faith in Sancho, creating a new football pitch built in partnership with him, to inspire others in the community where he grew up. Whenever one thinks of Ronaldo or Mbappe one conjures up images of defenders left behind in their wake, the same can be said of Jadon, at a very young age he invokes the same picture, ensuring the Nike Mercurial speed legacy is here to stay on his feet.
