adidas Drop Roteiro Pack

Dean Ariola

The adidas Roteiro OMB was at the centre of the Euro 2004 matches. It was also in that year that the adidas began the Pulse generation of the Predator. This is the context surrounding this particular 2024 Predator drop. Heading into the international break ahead of this year’s Euro event, we get to see today’s Predator stars wear the Roteiro incarnate. Predator Roteiro is surely a great way to pay tribute to the OMB and boot fan-favourite of that Portugal tournament twenty years ago.

Nostalgia is in full blast here as the 2024 Predator returns the fold-over tongue. Not only does the classic feature assist the Predator Roteiro in simulating the silhouette of the Pulse, it also helps in nailing down the Euro 2004 colourway. Speaking of the tongue, the Roteiro drop only comes with the FT version. Pretty sure this alerts all boot collectors out there as the more limited the release is, the better for them. Be sure to get your pair now before it’s too late.

So starting with the fold-over tongue, we see that familiar red shading with a grey adidas performance logo slapped on it. The lateral side predominantly flashes a silver colourway, which the adidas stripes in the classic metallic blue shade fang on. Moving on to the medial side, metallic blue forms that half of the upper that is then populated by red Strikeskin elements. The outsole essentially subscribes to the Roteiro theme, with the soleplate mainly being silver and the stud tips in red. With the overlay structures on the toe area and lateral edge in metallic blue, that Roteiro motif under the hood is completed.

Unless other Predator stars who wear the laceless and laced models join in the fun, we expect the usual FT headliners to showcase the Roteiro Predator. We are talking about the likes of Pedri and Jude Bellingham. And speaking of players joining in, Alvaro Morato, who usually wears the X speed boots, is also listed to represent the Roteiro boots. Most importantly though, the Roteiro is for anyone who has the long range skills and close control, and also wants a one-of-a-kind look for his Predator FT. It’s just a bonus that it also happen to remember fondly the Pulse and OMB history in Euro 2004.
