As for the colourway, Messi Miami is straight-up influenced by ‘Miami Vice.’ That explains the aqua base and pinkish accents from the stripes (which had purplish fade toward the top) and the cursived ‘Messi’ branding on both sides of the quarter quarter. Making the brandings even more noticeable is the underlaying cyan panel covering that section of the boot. The Speedframe reflected the overall theme by going aqua on the rearfoot, having a pinkish transition on the middle and finishing it off with purple on the forefoot.
