Skepta Phantom SK

Dean Ariola

Put this up amongst the most awaited collab boot releases! The Phantom SK, produced by Nike and Skepta, gives the Phantom silo a fiery and fierce look ahead of summer 2021. A red butterfly print is on the upper, paired with chrome Swooshes and soleplate for a stunning Skepta release.

Skepta’s Nike Phantom GT looks aggressive with its deep hot red overlay, which produces a sleek combination with the black Flyknit base upper. The boot also has a black abstract, pulsating Chevron graphic on the toe box, complementing the huge Swoosh. The lateral GT trademark strip goes in dark blue bordering black, while the branding on its end is red and reads Phantom SK. Noticeably blue is the rear panel that also reads SK.

Providing some touch of sparkle are the metallic finish of the ankle Swooshes and the Hyperquick soleplate. The latter adds some rugged aura with spraypaint-like dotted visuals. Black stud tips complete the look of the Phantom SK boot.

The release included both the Phantom GT x Skepta and the Nike Air Max Tailwind V Skepta, unfortunately due to injury the plan for Greenwood to wear them at Euro 2020 never eventuated as he withdrew from the England squad, Greenwood did wear them for Manchester United in the Premier League.
