Mizuno Drop SR4 Vol. 2 Collection

Now that Sergio Ramos is a full-fledged ambassador of their brand, Mizuno drop the SR4 Vol. 2 Collection. The Japanese boot maker gives the timeless centre-back not just one but two signature boots, with both the Alpha and the Morelia Neo III speed boots carrying out the same thematic design and colourway. Sergio Ramos and speed boots are something you don’t normally associate to each other, but the fact that the defender finds them comfortable and useful suggests the versatility of Mizuno in creating the best K-leather and synthetic boots out there.

Whether you go for the Alpha or the Morelia Neo III Beta, you’ll get a similar look from the second Ramos Mizuno collection. Black base, red outsole and Runbird, and reflective silhouette of famous landmarks so dear to the Spanish legend. Black represents his elite level status as a footballer, while red marks the passion he has for the sport and for glory. The reflective details, not only do they display the places associated to Ramos, they also symbolise the sheer volume of titles he won in his career.

So what are the landmarks that are depicted on the Ramos Vol. 2 boots? First, it shows the drawings of La Giralda and La Torre Del Oro of Sevilla to mark the star’s birthplace. Madrid’s Puerta de Alcala and La Cabeles represent both Real Madrid and the city as the capital of Spain, a nod to Sergio Ramos being a legend and a huge contributor of success to both domestic club and national team.  Lastly, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower of Paris illustrate the latest chapter of his career with PSG.
