Mizuno drops its first-ever signature boots for SR4. Ferocious and imposing, Sergio Ramos and his football qualities shine through the graphics and design. The Mizuno SR4 Signature Model Vol 1 even gives off some vibes of the player’s Corazon y Sangre Tiempo Legend 7 back in his Nike days.
Likewise, the Japanese brand ensures it provides its famous quality boot production (e.g. 24-hour lasting, specialised handcrafting, double glue injections) to its star’s first major launch. The release comes in both regular and β versions of the Morelia Neo III in limited quantities, so be sure to check out Mizuno as soon as the boots come out.
Like his Tiempo Legend 7, SR4’s signature Morelia is predominantly white with gold accents from the Runbird logo and soleplate. The secondary colour detail represents Ramos as a serial champion with lots of silverware inside his trophy cabinet. The standout feature of the design goes to the ‘Lion’ and ‘Wolf’ graphics, each occupying either side of the boot.
The ‘Lion’ reflects the Spaniard’s courage, bravery, and strength for his family, club and country. The ‘Wolf,’ on the other hand, symbolises his leadership on and off the pitch. Overall, the vivid shade of the colour accent and the neo-realistic portrayal of the animal visuals give the boot a fierce yet elegant look.
