It’s all about feeling the Charge to end the 2023/24 season in a high for Mizuno. For that reason, the brand is dropping the Morelia Neo Beta IV Charge football boots. However, if you think you have already seen the Beta at this colourway, you’ll be forgiven. It does look like the Beta from the 2020 Robotic Pack. We’ve seen this script before where Mizuno seems to be reviving previous colourways with minor tweaks. Safe to say Charge Beta pursues the same path.
The Charge Pack sees the Beta and its upper components-the K-leather forefoot, the Beta Mesh midfoot including the quarter-all in white. It also checks on the streaking Runbird going red, and it makes sure that the soleplate and the Beta Knit on the tongue and collar provide the grey accents we’ve seen on the previous Robotic paintjob.
What Charge adds to Robotic is more red accents, courtesy of the heel extension of the collar and the internal honeycomb chassis, visible through the cutouts on the soleplate and external counter. What’s more, Charge reverses the colouring of the studs, going red this time for the main conicals and white for the midfoot supporting blade.
