What Does Rodrygo Wear?

Dean Ariola

Collection of Rodrygo boots takes a new turn as he recently wore the adidas F50, the designated speed boot from the Stripes brand. The boot boasts a synthetic Fibertouch upper with Sprintweb 3D texture, a Compression Fit Tunnel tongue and a Sprintframe 360 outsole. The player opted for the regular laced model during those times he was spotted with the F50.

F50 Born for Goals

Rodrygo’s pair around the beginning of 2026 was the F50 from the Born for Goals pack. The collection meant to further excite the boot’s concept of speed, energising the silo with a white to bright yellow colour transition. This provided an effect of being in a state of motion even at rest. The same shade of yellow also detailed the checkered pattern on the toe to kind of invoke thoughts of a racing flag.

What boots had Rodygo worn in the past?

Rodrygo began as a Nike enthusiast. He cycled between the Mercurial and Phantom, wearing the likes of the Vapor 12 and Vapor 13 for the former and the Hypervenom Phantom 3, Phantom GT 1 and Phantom GT 2 for the latter. It did look like he was going to be a mainstay for the Phantom though around the 2023/2024 season. It was at this point that he was headlining the Phantom GX generation that included the special edition GX 1 Thunder colourway.

Surprisingly, he reverted back to the Mercurial. He even featured in an ad for the pink Vapor 15 as part of the Mad Brilliance pack for the 2024 Copa America. This return to the Vapor spilled over to the Vapor 16, wearing standard colourway releases up until the start of the 2025/26 season.

Who is Rodrygo Goes?

Rodrygo started his career in Brazil with Santos, the same club played for by Neymar. In 2019, he made the switch to Real Madrid. With Los Blancos, the player achieved what only few professionals can make a claim to-a multi-titled winner. This includes a number of La Liga titles, Champions League trophies, Copa del Rey and even the FIFA Club World Cup.

Rodrygo has a diminutive stature, but his low centre of gravity allows him to change direction quickly. But this agility is only made possible because of his technical qualities that allow him to play direct and dribble from tight spaces. He has also shown versatility in position by being able to operate both centrally and from the flanks. His smart decision-making and intelligent movement allows him to be above-average in terms of chance creation for others and for himself.
