Nike Launch First-Ever Haaland Signature Boots

Dean Ariola

There’s no denying Haaland has already reached the heights he was prospected to achieve. And the only thing’s left for the rest of his career is how much trophies is he going to secure for his silverware room. Only a player of this elite level gets to rock a pair of signature boots. It’s a boost for the Phantom GX II that Haaland’s first signature came at its time.

To be clear, there was this Force 9 GX I last year. The thing is it was really more of a custom GX Luminous than an actual signature look. Sure, there were bespoke brandings and a minor shakeup on the colour detailing, but that neon yellow Gripknit upper very much connected it to the Nike Luminous Pack. It was also not a retail release, and the conditions to get even just a chance of getting that pair were very specific and limited. This time, fans emulating the striker can really come out in full force, easily able to secure his GX II boots and wear them on their own matchdays.

Haaland’s first signature is mostly red. It leads to pinkish on the Gripknit upper and a bit to orange for the quarter. The zap-shape seam around the quarter is made pronounced by a black bold outline. The Swooshes have a metallic shade, with the main one further adding a ribbed texturing. An iridescent finish to the Cyclone 360 tooling to partner with the fiery colourway.

Now it won’t be complete without any reference to the player. The brandings on the heel though says its all. ‘Erling’ reads out of the heel of the left boot. ‘Haaland’ goes to the right. They join the metallic details of the upper. The insole also carries his name.
