Nike Reveal First-Ever Erling Haaland Signature Boots

When you are a prolific striker that has just become a Premier League record goalscorer and champion in your first season, it’s just bound to happen. Nike is set to provide Erling Haaland his first-ever pair of signature boots, a truly deserved moment given what he has achieved at such a young age. Now with a star with achievements to back him up, Haaland has the privilege of having Nike’s famed Montebelluna factory and its craftsmanship for his custom GX boots, soon to be available in limited quantities….

Haaland’s first signature comes in the form of his current silo, the Phantom GX. That yellowish volt on the Gripknit is arguably taken straight up from the GX of the Nike Luminous Pack. It’s a nice touch, considering that the Phantom GX Luminous was his first boot when officially signed up. But obviously details are added to make the boot distinct for Erling Haaland.

First, the Swoosh is now a solid black fill instead of an outline, with the smaller Swoosh on the opposite side of the apex is now a bright red detail. In the same vein of red are the ‘ERLING’ and ‘HAALAND’ brandings on the heel, one for each boot. A ‘FORCE9’ black branding reads on the quarter, which marks another significant difference with its yellow application as opposed to white. The said shade of yellow extends to both the Flyknit tongue and heel, where the striker’s marketing name appears as a repeating tonal pattern. The Norwegian flag on the tongue signs off the overall design of the boot.
