Prior to the MDS 003 Bruno wore other key colourways from like the New Lights, Future Lab, and Neighbourhood packs. During his time at Sporting Lisbon, some of the Mercurial football boots he wore included the Vapor 11 Lock In Let Loose, the Vapor 12 Always Forward, and the Vapor 12 Game Over.

Bruno's Nike Mercurial

Fernandes' style of play sees him going direct against the opposition, always taking risks and looking for the killer pass. As such, flicks, crosses, and curls are part of the Bruno's highlight reels. While Fernandes is more than capable of dribbles and goals, he is a pass-first football player and aggressively demands the ball to initiate the team's plays. He is also an excellent set-piece taker. His trademark 'hop' during penalties allow him to have a high conversion on that field. With such quality playmaking skills, Fernandes is used to having the ball under his foot, and the Vapor's thin Flyknit upper serves him well as it enables a barefoot-like sensation upon ball contact. Because the midfielder is also well adept in moving into spaces, he needs a very responsive boot. The Mercurial is just that because of the forefoot Aerotrak spine on the outsole that has an incredible amount of snapback. With a slim profile and a tight fit, the Vapor has a secure lockdown on Bruno's foot and allows him to focus on his game.

Bruno Fernandes started his football journey in Italy, playing first with Serie B side Novara. He'll move up to Udinese and Sampdoria before eventually making a name for himself in Sporting Lisbon. Fernandes racked up individual club awards and helped the club win some of Portugal's prestigious cup competitions. In January 2020, he completed his move to Manchester United to follow the footsteps of the great Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite having played with the team for only half a season, his immediate impact enabled him to win the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year.
