Adidas releases the UCL Pack featuring a special-edition remake of the Predator Pulse. Following the steps of the likes of the Eternal Class and Superstealth, it continues the series of old-school Predators getting revived for the enjoyment of both new and old football boot consumers. But wait, there’s more! The F50 Adizero Prime joins this collection of remakes that are sure to evoke nostalgia for the boots’ memorable moments in the UCL. While the uppers are one-to-one remakes of the original, the soleplates are the Controlframe and Carbitex Speedframe of the present Predator Freak and X Speedflow.
The UCL21 Pack marks the opening phase of the prestigious football tournament that features the best of the best in Europe. As such, the colourway of both boots carries the theme of the UCL.
For the Predator Pulse, a vivid and lighter ‘Bold Blue’ colours the leather upper, while the darker ‘Navy’ appears on the tongue and the edges of the opening. Shock pink accents the stripes logo on the fold-over tongue, the swerve fins on the instep, and the adidas logo and branding on the heel. In addition, the spine structure within the transparent studs is also pink. The UCL-inspired look culminates in the Starball logo and UCL wordmark printed on the insole. The Controlframe shows a Bold Blue-Navy transition from front to rear.
The F50 Adizero Prime, on the other hand, represents the silverware of the tournament with its predominantly shiny silver paint job. The upper also contains shock pink accents from the adidas stripes with pinstriped cutouts, the F50 and Adizero branding and graphics, the translucent stud tips on the forefoot of the soleplate, and the adidas combination mark on the heel. The famous F50 strip is more of a royal blue. The wearable finish of the Carbitex Speedframe is dark blue around the forefoot and silver for the rest.
