When you go up against Mo Salah, be ready for a fight! Adidas gives its star winger a signature pair called ‘Prepare for Battle,’ which has a silo and a graphic associated with none other than the GOAT Lionel Messi.
The boot represents speed, intensity and skill, all things the headline star has in abundance. ‘Prepare for Battle’, while representing one of the current speedsters in the game, has undeniable links to the rich history of adidas football boots.
The latest Mo Salah signature is a pair of X Speedflow.1 with a dark red Primeknit collar and a white-overlaid textile upper. The biggest draw of the boot is the all-over upper pattern which is the same one used for Messi’s very-own 2014 F50 Adizero Battle Pack boot. Mirroring the colour-split design of the Messi boot, the graphic design on Salah’s boot is gold on the sides of the boot and red on the centre along with the tongue.
The Carbitex Speedframe has a dark gold to white, rear to front colour transition and red stud tips toward the front. Black streaking adidas stripes and a gold Mo Salah logo on the heel complete the look.
