adidas Introduces the Predator Edge 94

Dean Ariola

The Predator Edge goes back to its roots to carry out a look inspired by the grand old boot that started it all. With the adidas Predator Edge 94, the current Predator generation stylises itself with the colourway and brand striping that resembles the very first Predator launched in 1994.

That means that with the Edge 94, you can once again sport the classic black with red and white colourway and the old school bespoke Predator striping. It also helps that the Zoneskin grip elements look like scaled-down versions of the fins of the OG Predator. The Facetframe is actually in silver but has the studs and the edges covered with reddish structures to fulfill the iconic colour theme.

But to complete the retro-look, the Edge steps it up a notch and changes the Primeknit upper into a leather one! What’s more, the boot also includes the squarish breaks on the surface of the leather, really doubling down on the spirit of the Predator in its debut year. It’s a timely remembrance of some sort given that the first Predator was released in a World Cup, which will have again in a few weeks time.
