Pharrell Williams and Paul Pogba have completed their adidas collaboration and revealed the Human Race Predator 20+, Human Race by Pharrell is an adidas collection designed to recognize racial unity.
At the onset, the new Predator impresses with a mixture of red, white, and black, and the overall colourway is reminiscent of that coming from the 1998 Predator Accelerator, one of Pogba’s favourite boots. For starters, the sock collar is red and the Primeknit upper, for the most part especially the toe box, is black. The Demonskin rubber elements are also black.
Both on the lateral and medial sides, white paint-like stripes flow diagonally and move into the sole. The ControlFrame’s split stud plate construction is black on the rear and red on the front. Completing the look of the latest Predator is the ‘Humanrace’ branding at the back of the collar and the ‘HU’ logo on the lateral side, specifically near the ankle seam.
Tech-wise, the HU Predator retains all features that make it a fantastic boot in the first- laceless closure, Primeknit upper, Demonskin grip elements, and Control Frame split soleplate. Demand for these unique boots is expected to be high, with a limited release paired with an iconic design.
