Villa is known for his deadly free kicks. On the 8th of July 2013 Villa signed for Atletico Madrid for €5.1 million and he scored on his debut against former club Barcelona in the Spanish Supercup.
After the successful 2010 FIFA World Cup Villa joined Spanish giants Barcelona for 40 million euros. He made an immediate impact as he helped the club to win the 2010-11 La Liga title and Champions League. Villa's international career has been impressive as he has won one World Cup and one EURO Championship. Villa was injured for the 2012 EURO Championship.
