Puma Drops Another Ultra SL, This Time with BMW Motorsport!

Puma continues to collaborate with prominent car brands for arguably the most weightless football boot today. The Puma x BMW Ultra SL follows the sportswear previous work with Rimac on the same super lightweight version of the Puma speed boot, as well as tie-ups like the Mercedes Ultra 1.4 and Rallye Porsche 911 King Platinum 21. Manchester United’s Antony provides the on-pitch debut for the BMW Ultra SL.

The BMW Ultra SL has a white ULTRAWEAVE upper that makes all the design elements immediately observable. An abstract polygonal graphic in red and blue previews on the heel, and the lateral Formstrip outline in navy contrasts itself to the accompanying offset solid one in red. The BMW logo on the toe box has that nice target appearance on the instep of the toe box, as pointing out the most optimal striking area.

The design might not be the same, but the play of colours on this boot slightly resembles that of the signature Pulisic Ultra launched ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
