Nike Drop ‘Green Speed’ Premier III

Back in the 2012, Nike launched the Green Speed boots to showcase the possibility of sustainable football boots made from recycled materials. It repeated the concept in 2018 with the GS360, with the same iconic look applied to the Mercurial series at that time. Less the recycling part, the Green Speed is coming back in 2023, this time through the Premier III.

Nike gives the Tiempo-spinoff Premier III the Green Speed treatment. As such, the cow-leathered boot now carries a black quarter and a volt vamp. To keep up with the Green Speed theme as much as possible, the Swoosh and the Premier III logo on the heel are blacked out. The same goes to the fold-over tongue, which can be cut if you are not a fan of the old-school vibe it brings.

There may not be a Neymar or an Mbappe to headline Green Speed in 2023, surely the Premier III’s comfort and affordability should make this release a hit, especially for those active in Sunday League pitches.
