The throwback boot comes in a predominantly white colourway accented by silverish grey through the adidas stripes. The clean look subtly hides another retro detail-the embossed leopard pattern made famous by the adiZero from the 2014 World Cup Battle Pack.
Like recent adidas remakes, especially those related to the adiZero, the 2022 leather adiZero sits on a modern tooling. To be specific, the Carbitex Speedframe version is the one that appeared in the X Ghosted and X Speedflow. Adding elegance to the clean look of the upper is the iridescent wearable finish glossing over the tooling. Performance-wise, expect to feel suppleness up top and explosive responsiveness down under with this upper-soleplate combination.
