Volt Superfly IIIs in Italy

The latest Volt / Imperial Purple / Retro Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III incarnation has been sported not only in England and Germany, but also in Italy.

In fact, as their side crashed to a heavy defeat at the hands of Napoli at home, Inter players Dejan Stanković and Yuto Nagatomo both wore these stand-out boots. Napoli won the match 3-0 at the San Siro, thanks to goals from Campagnaro, Maggio and Hamsik. Joel Obi was sent off in the first half for a second yellow card for Inter who also saw manager Ranieri dismissed for complaining to the referee at half-time.

Earlier today, Alejandro Gómez gave Catania a last-gasp point in Piedmont against Novara while wearing the Volt MV SF IIIs. Catania had led 1-0 at half-time, but needed Gómez’s goal to make it 3-3 in the 91st minute.

Even Palermo’s attacking midfielder Josip Iličić sported these new football boots in the Serie A against Siena at the Renzo Barbera stadium. Palermo lead from a 19th minute Migliaccio goal, but did not wrap the game up until injury time when Hernandez scored from the penalty spot.
