The Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III football boots have been dominating the scene, but it was actually the Vapors that constituted Nike’s original ‘speed’ boot, paving the way for the Superfly range.
The 7th incarnation of the Vapor features the same lightning bolt design as in the Superfly boots, practically putting players in the spotlight.
Note that the new Nike Vapor VII involves no lace cover, which used to be its key distinguishing feature vis-à-vis the Superfly releases.
These boots, which weigh 230 g, are constructed from a comfortable Teijin microfibre material, and they have had their price slashed from £ 180 to a more reasonable £ 150.
