Pimento Air Mercurial Tn

Through Vinicius Jr., Nike presented an orange version of the Air Mercurial Tn, which applied the palm trees-inspired TPU outer cage to the Vaporposite+ upper of the Nike Mercurials. It was a special edition orange option dropped around March 2024.

Limited-Edition GX Blaze

Arguably one of those orange boots that falls on the yellowish side of the spectrum. This limited edition GX release features different shades on the Gripknit upper, having a darker one for the bespoke GX knit pattern. The underside has an undeniable tone, however.

adidas ends season 2022/23 with a orange pack. The Predator Accuracy is the most orange of the bunch, with the X Speedportal following suit, albeit in a more lighter Solar Gold application. It took something massive to replace the established T90 Laser silo and it came in the form of the Nike Hypervenom launched in orange and black. Marketed as a boot for ‘a new breed of attackers,’ the Hypervenom was starred by Neymar and featured a newly developed soft and supple NikeSkin upper-a mesh-based material with a thin polyurethane film that produced a barefoot-like sensation with ball contact. With the T90 Laser being tanky in build and armed with shooting elements, the Hypervenom was a revolutionary u-turn for Nike at that time.

This exclusive Messi F50 Adizero launched ahead of the 2014-2015 season and the bright neon orange of the upper served as the backdrop for the abundant words that describe Lionel Messi. The boot had Messi’s iconic ‘M’ logo at the back of the heel to further signify its exclusiveness. The silo’s trademark technologies of thin Hybridtouch upper and lightweight Sprintframe outsole blended well with Messi’s nimbleness.

It showed how much can be done design-wise with the 360° construction of the Flyknit upper multitextured with high tenacity yarns.

This boot was made special as it was a product of Nike’s collaboration with renowned fashion designer Virgil Abloh. The collaboration resulted in the Vapor 12 being dressed in bright orange with big playful white and blue dots as well as OFF WHITE’s industrial style labelling for ‘KNIT’ and ‘LOGO.’


Superfly 360 Kim Jones

This was another boot produced by Nike in collaboration with a famous fashion designer, this time being Kim Jones. The boot was sort of a recreation of CR7’s safari printed Mercurials with Kim Jone also being inspired by childhood in Africa. The boot was worn by Ronaldo in his March 2018 clash against PSG and propelled him to score a goal with his trademark hang time header.
