The Diadora Kobra K Pro has been released for the 2010 World Cup, showcased with the aid of Brazil’s Felipe Melo.
The kangaroo leather upper is very soft, not taking long to mold to your foot. The outsole is made of carbon-fibre, with Diadora choosing to add some new features outside of the norm. An overlapping tongue is designed to fold over the entire lace, leaving an extra large strike zone.
Furthermore, there are ‘scales’ across the leather region of the upper, like little rivets that are slightly raised from the actual leather. The carbon-fibre soleplate offers increased bounce-back when you run, so, as you sprint (and the centre of the boot folds in), you will notice a little extra spring on release.
A new stud configuration, called a Flex Rotax arrangement, is designed to improve forefront rotation as you turn.
In general, these cleats are suitable for players of all positions, although defenders can benefit from their comfort and protection more than a striker, who might need something lighter and a little less bulky.
