The Puma v1.10 SL football boots have been launched as the world’s lightest, weighing in at a mere 150 g.

Now, the Puma v1.10 Lightning SL has been released in a Team Yellow / Amazon Green / Heather / Black colourway.

The boot is designed in Usain Bolt’s signature Jamaica colours of yellow and green. Swarovski crystals are embedded in the heel, whereas the country’s national motto is presented on the outstep: ‘Out of Many, One People’.

The upper is made from a superlight microfibre synthetic material, which is extremely soft for excellent comfort and superb ball feel. A central lacing system, with a soft and lightweight tongue, is constructed to provide breathability.

The outsole and external heel counter have been engineered from a revolutionary Thermoplastic. The Pebax material offers outstanding mechanical, physical and chemical properties, bridging the gap between thermoplastics and rubbers. Therefore, the outsole offers stability, durability and support at a fraction of the weight, whereas a carbon fibre insert in the outsole enhances player movement through reactivity, flexibility and midfoot stability.

Moreover, the forefoot stud configuration ensures smooth ground penetration, as well as optimal manoeuvrability and traction. The Puma v1.10 Lightning SL is engineered for lighter movement and quicker ball strikes. It is built for players like Samuel Eto’o, who personify speed and spontaneity.

The Cameroon star showcased these new football boots during the Supercoppa Italiana this weekend, helping Inter to win 3 – 1 against Roma with a couple of goals and a man-of-the-match performance.
