He has gone for this Metallic Silver / Infrared colour scheme even as the Catalan giants beat Getafe 4 – 1, with Messi coming off the bench and scoring twice.
This edition of adidas’ ‘speed’ boot was exclusive to the Argentine superstar until yesterday, when a host of other players all over Europe gave them a run-out on the pitch.
For example, Lukas Podolski wore them for Arsenal in the Gunners’ tennis-like 6 – 1 win over Southampton, which will be remembered for the German forward‘s free-kick that was smashed into the roof of the net.
The Dutch midfielder Urby Emanuelson could not prevent AC Milan’s 1 – 0 defeat at the hands of Atalanta at home, despite sporting this flashy incarnation by the brand of the Three Stripes.
Note that this adiZero is part of the additions that adidas has been making to each of its boot silos for autumn, along with somewhat dark versions of the Predator LZ and the adiPure 11pro.
