The crown of the lightest football boot is placed on the head of the Puma v1.10 SL

In the ‘speed war’ of boots, Puma have been no slouches at all, since, for example, back in 2008, the v1.815 Ferrari was released, whose weight of 165 g has just been matched by the adidas f50 adiZero. However, the Puma v1.10 Super Light takes the Puma v1.815 Ferrari merely as a starting point, with the speed boot category getting even lighter, since its weight should be around 150 g.

The Puma v1.10 SL employs a more frictionless microfibre upper which is meant to be exceptionally soft and flexible, and, furthermore, these boots have been coated to help protect the upper against damage from friction. Therefore, this lightest football boot in existence is made from a superlight microfibre synthetic material, which is extremely soft for comfort and ball feel, as well as highly abrasion resistant to improve the boot’s longevity and durability.

Central lacing enhances comfort, whilst this boot is finished off with a lightweight tongue constructed to provide breathability.

The external heel counter enhances durability. Here, we have a single-piece Pebax heel unit, which is distinctive in Puma Royal, offering a level of heel lock and protection. The carbon-fibre sole insert is designed to reinforce the midfoot, providing maximum energy return when sprinting, striking and turning.
