We were very surprise this morning when seeing images of this match as one of the La Liga winners’ main men, Mesut Özil, has been spotted in an interesting pair of football boots given his curriculum. 

In fact, the attacking midfielder is typically an avid endorsee of the Nike Vapor range of ‘speed’ football boots, which give you an edge on the pitch by affording top-notch acceleration and agility.

However, rather than sporting the latest Seaweed colourway of the Vapor VIII series, Özil might be looking to secure a permanent move to rival brand from Germany adidas, following in the footsteps of Manchester United ace Nani.

In fact, same as the Portuguese winger, the German playmaker may be seeking the improved touch, control and delivery offered by the latest Predator boots in the form of the LZ, more specifically wearing the launch Blue / White / Infrared colour scheme. 

Could there be some issues with the Vapor incarnations that we are not aware of ? Or has Özil been given advice in favour of the Three Stripes’ Lethal Zones by teammates di María and Kaká ?

We can also speculate that Özil can be tired of being shrouded by Cristiano Ronaldo when it comes to the Vapor editions, or adidas may have made a strong move to secure his signing given their production of the Los Blancos kits.
