The world-famous Nike Vapor VIII is the ultimate lightweight performance football boot, built by the brand of the Big Swoosh for explosive ‘speed’ and outstanding agility on the pitch. The Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo has played an all-important part for this range of boots to be catapulted as perhaps the industry leader.
The lead endorsee has switched to the brand new colourway released by Nike, officially dubbed as the Seaweed / Volt / Red colour scheme. Perhaps more toned-down than previous much more eye-catching editions, this version involves the soft and supple ultra-thin Teijin synthetic leather upper specifically designed to fit around the foot like a second skin and deliver a more natural touch of the ball.
However, it may come as a surprise that the silo’s main ambassador seems to have made a move to the previous soleplate, as used on the Vapor 7s, featuring a layout with the typical 4 heel studs.
Therefore, CR7 seems not to prefer the 2 studs at the heel of the “typical” Vapor 8, which should be helping to get out of the turf quicker for even faster acceleration.
