Mizuno Morelia Neo Wearer Leads Euro 2012 Golden Boot Race

Russia’s Alan Dzagoev isn’t the first name you’d think of when naming players for the Euro 2012 golden boot, but the CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder already has three goals in two games so far at the European Championships. He’s wearing the Mizuno Morelia Neo, a boot that isn’t being worn by many players at the tournament, but made famous by Brazil & FC Porto forward Hulk with the brand.

Dzagoev has at least one more game to add to his scoring tally, with Russia facing Greece in their last Group A match, with four points from two games, a quarter-final against Group B opposition also looks likely. He scored his first goal for Russia in October 2010, at the Euros Dzagoev got two in Russia’s opening 4-1 win against the Czech Republic and a third tournament goal in their second game against Poland.

You can find out more about the Morelia Neo here and read our review of the Ultra Light Hulk Special Edition Mizuno Morelia here. Only time will tell where Alan ends up at the end of the tournament in the golden boot hunt.
