As regards the ‘speed’ boot by Puma, you should know by now that the famous v1 series is gone, being replaced by the all-new evoSPEED range.
The brand was not satisfied with the release of the so-called White / Red / Limoges colourway for the Euro 2012 championships that are upcoming.
This complementary Black / White / Team Orange colour scheme leads to a boot that is engineered with a “light, fit and flex” philosophy, with a one-piece synthetic upper to ensure that you get a great touch of the ball while the boot moulds to the shape of your foot.
An interesting new feature on the evoSPEED football boots is the new internal EverFitCAGE incorporated into the football boot to provide your foot with a greater amount of stability.
The stud configuration is also quite unique, with a mix of blades and conical studs, as well as a single-piece TPU outsole for this synthetic incarnation to tip the scales at a mere 181 g.
Puma also offers a kangaroo leather version of the evoSPEED, with this particular model generally having more professional endorsement due to the softer upper over the marginally lighter synthetic boot.
