The German brand adidas is to come up with a new ‘control’ boot giving Nike’s CTR360 Maestri range something to think about.
In fact, the upcoming adidas Predator D5 incorporates innovative features helping you to gain the upper hand over your opposition . . . as the boot’s name implies, 5 deadly zones (including various pods and stripes as shown below) will enhance ball control and passing accuracy.
This prospective incarnation is linked to a May or June 2012 release, putting them in the spotlight ahead of Euro 2012.
Pictures on the internet are showing a black-out edition of these football boots with a pattern on the instep looking a lot like a control zone . . . note that the Bayer Leverkusen central midfielder Michael Ballack had been spotted training with his club side in these mystery boots.
