Fred’s Adidas F50.9 TUNIT Boots
Just several months after the F50.8 was released, Adidas launched the F50.9 TUNIT range in November 2008. The F50 range contains the “Alles Klar” technology and customisation features of previous boots whilst adding new improvements along the way. The first major change in the new boot is that the lace cover had been welded onto the upper with any seams. The innovative design provides a favourable fit and a smooth kicking surface. The boot also features a lightweight microfibre synthetic “Adigrip” upper to improve ball control in wet conditions and to give the boot a glove like fit.
Brazilian striker Fred began his career back in 2002 with America Mineiro. After two seasons he moved to Cruzeiro where he managed to score an impressive 24 goals in 43 games. His form was recognised throughout Europe and Lyon took him to France in 2005. In 88 games, the Brazilian managed to net 34 times. However, in February 2009, he was released from his contract and signed a pre contract with Brazilian club Fluminense.
