Global Manufacturers Nike has released a new Blue/Silver/Obsidian colourway for their popular Mercurial Vapor Superfly boot.

The boot is currently available for pre order on Kitbag.com for £224.99 before it’s general release on November 1st 2009.

Nike have specifically designed the boots for players who work off pure speed and being first to the ball. Several elite players wear the boot including Cristiano Ronaldo, Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly boot consists of the latest Flywire technology which involves high strength threads that support the boot like a suspension bridge allowing the foot to mould into it. The upper of the Superfly is made from a single skin Teijin material which is thin to give great feel and ball control.

The boot also incoperates a revolutionary lightweight traction sole plate and a carbon fibre chassis that significantly lighten the Superfly as a whole. This ensures that the players remain quicker and more mobile with better reactions than ever before.

The Superfly also has a one piece seamless heel pod liner offers added comfort and fit and a minimum internal heel counter to provide the added integrity in the heel for ultra explosive players. A 7 layer carbon composite outsole reduces the weight of the boot whilst adding maximum strength and durability.
