Frédéric Piquionne, born on 8 December 1978 in Nouméa, New Caledonia, is a French footballer currently playing as a forward for West Ham United in the English Premier League.
He scored his first Premier League goal for West Ham in the 1 – 0 win against local rivals Tottenham Hotspur on 25 September 2010, this also being the landmark 10,000th goal scored in the English top flight with a Nike match ball.
In the 29th minute of the match, it was the adidas F50 adiZero wearer who netted goal number 10,000, courtesy of a Mark Noble corner, using the Nike Total 90 Tracer.
Note that a limited edition golden match ball has been unveiled by Nike to celebrate this occasion, only 100 of which being available.
