Blue Sapphire / White / Black Nike CTR360 Maestri Elite

Nike have once again utilised the fade down the side of these control-oriented football boots, with the toe end being a dazzling metallic blue, which dissipates into black at the heel counter. Moreover, the signature Nike tick appears in white on both sides and the sole of the Elite Series CTR360 Maestris.

Here, the upper is made from a synthetic Kanga-Lite material, developed by Nike themselves. This is a material giving the same ball touch and feel of natural kangaroo leather. However, this synthetic Kanga-Lite material is somewhat more durable, whilst absorbing 20 % less water than natural leather, meaning that the boot will remain lightweight even in wet conditions.

The design of the Nike CTR360 Maestris is innovative itself, helping the player to win the ball, keep control of it and distribute it accordingly. Note that, in this respect, a smooth black rubber pass-pad is integrated on the instep of these cleats, which have already been competitively worn by Arsenal starlet Jack Wilshere, and are likely to be popular with the likes of Chelsea’s Ashley Cole and Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira.
